Velvac

Velvac designs and produces cost effective, differentiated vision systems and components. Their products support a wide range of medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles, including over the road haulers, RVs, buses, emergency and fleet vehicles.

In the mid 1950’s, Velvac began producing a range of “west coast” mirror heads for North American truck manufacturers, becoming an OEM supplier of mirrors to GM in 1956. This started Velvac’s growth and eventual leadership in supplying vision systems to the North American commercial vehicle market.

Desert Truck Service distributes Velvac mirrors, designed to be OEM+ in quality, durability and finish. These mirrors improve safety by reducing vibration and providing large, clear views of blind spots and passing lanes around the vehicle. A combination of styling, quality and performance make Velvac mirrors the new benchmark for medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles.
